Italian in Mexico. Yes. Love this quaint restaurant nestled in the romantic zone. Very quiet and little traffic. I’ve always walked by it and finally for my birthday yesterday took my friends there after reading all the positive fellow goggle reviews. First the service was wonderful and never rushed. Our waiter was always smiling. I like courses and to enjoy my dining experience. I started with calamari. Very lightly breaded and served with a sweet and spice sauce. My choice for dinner was the Cesar salad and Puttanesca. The Cesar salad needs a tad bit more presentation but came with all white romaine lettuce chopped up and a few croutons. Maybe some green leaves and anchovies or even char the lettuce. Spruce it up! The dressing was tasty but kinda watery. I just mixed it up and it was fine. Great taste. The Puttanesca was terrific. Just had to add a bit more red pepper to my taste and the flavor was so good. And as in previous reviews definitely have the gelato. Chocolate, pistachio and vanilla or ask for a combo. Notes: my friends said the Mexican pizza is very Spicey with jalapenos . The meatballs are huge. Lol.
I recently tried out this awesome restaurant, and I was blown away. The food was super tasty, and the wine selection was on point, pairing perfectly with everything we ordered. The service was fantastic—everyone was friendly and made us feel so welcome. And with the ocean view down the street and prices that won’t break the bank, it was an all-around great experience!
WOW! We never thought we'd find better pasta than in Italy. This place beats even Rome, Venice, and Florence pasta. The service was excellent with attention to detail. Our waiter, Oscar went above and beyond to ensure we had a good experience. Five stars
We loved our dinner. The service and food were excellent. The environment was perfect: quiet, peaceful and delicious.
The bruschetta was garlicky and perfect, we had good drinks and the pasta noodles were the exact al dente I love. My friend loved his lasagna too. The espresso martini was ok, and my friend enjoyed his Merlot.
We went her for a late lunch. The owners are great people. Very kind and friendly. Clean, relaxing and enjoyable place. Service was terrific. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo was great. For those who do not want a LOT of olive oil make sure to let them know to go easy on the oil. The food was delicious. The small garlic with tomatoes starter was free and yummy. They were kind enough to separate our chicken fettuccine into 2 bowls.
Fettuccine Alfredo and carbonara spaghetti were amazing. My mom & I couldn’t stop swooning at how good it tasted. The ice tea was simple yet so good as well. Thank you for a great meal.
Excellent Italian restaurant in Puerto Vallarta. A bit of a walk up a hill, but the hike was worth it for the views. Get a table outside if possible. Huge portions - we could not come close to finishing the food. We had to take a lot back to our Airbnb. Friendly, fast service. Great wine. The pizza was fantastic. I would definitely visit again when I’m back in PVR.
